Rehabilitation

The complex has a medical centre for physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Physiotherapy and rehabilitation are among the oldest fields in medicine and are still extremely widely used today.

Physical therapy is based on approaches that promote, maintain, and restore physical and psycho-emotional well-being, taking into account each person’s specific individual characteristics. This method is scientifically grounded, and in order to be as beneficial as possible, it is important that it is practised by competent and experienced specialists.

From 1977 until the end of 2014, she worked at the regional hospital. She began as a physician in emergency and urgent medical care. In 1983, she moved to the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and in 1996 she became its head. Dr Mincheva is a member of the National Expert Board in Physical Medicine and Chair of the Management Board of the Medical Association in Veliko Tarnovo.
